GUILD JF30 BLD 1996
Description
GUILD JF30 BLD 1996
Along with Martin and Gibson, GUILD, an American guitar manufacturer, is considered one of the three major brands of acoustic guitars. Since the early 1960s, they have continued to manufacture dreadnought acoustic guitars and have received high praise over the years for their well-balanced and rich sound.
What we have in stock this time is the GUILD JF30 BLD, a jumbo model that GUILD excels at, manufactured in 1996 at the Westerly factory, one of the production facilities where GUILD has undergone various transitions.
The "JF30" is a jumbo-sized acoustic guitar that combines a spruce top and maple body. "BLD" refers to Blonde color. The sides and back are Indian rosewood, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. Other features include a 650mm scale, tortoiseshell pickguard, gold Grover tuning pegs, and shaved bracing.
The characteristic headstock logo features simple dot inlays, and the overall appearance has a subdued impression that blends well with any genre. Our in-house repairman has performed saddle work and fret dressing, so the current playing condition is outstanding.
Since it is not an electro-acoustic, it can serve as a pure acoustic.
This guitar has a powerful chord-stroked tone characteristic of GUILD, excellent resonance when played with fingers, and was one of the best acoustic guitars with virtually no flaws. Gibson's jumbo type tends to have a relatively small acoustic output, but GUILD feels considerably larger in comparison, and it's a guitar where you can enjoy pleasant time playing fingerstyle at home.
Among GUILD fans, it seems the older Westerly factory period models are quite popular, and playing this guitar makes it clear why it's so great. It combines the brilliance of Martin and the warm texture of Gibson in good balance, and once you play this, you'll definitely want it! Personally, I highly rate GUILD acoustic guitars, so I'd like to recommend this one.
