GUILD D25M 1979
Description
GUILD D25M 1979
Along with Martin and Gibson, Guild is considered one of the three major brands of acoustic guitars, a guitar maker from the United States of America.
What we have in stock this time is the "D25M," a model featuring a brown color and an arched back. It's from 1979. Among Guild guitars, which have had various changes in production facilities, this is one made at the Westerly factory, which has enjoyed the longest and most stable popularity.
The top is spruce, sides and back are mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. Other features include a 43mm nut width, 648mm scale, and GROVER tuning pegs.
The characteristic headstock logo features simple dot inlays, and the overall appearance is not overly luxurious or ostentatious. The action is currently high, but since the saddle remains, we recommend lowering it to your preferred action height by sanding the saddle after purchase. (Since action preferences vary from person to person, we have lowered the price in place of not performing this work in our shop.)
With the warm tone characteristic of mahogany, the pleasant high-end response and separation, I think this is a great guitar. With powerful chord strokes, you can somewhat sense Gibson-like qualities, and the sound has depth and dimension. Of course, it was very pleasant to play with fingers as well, so now I understand why Guild guitars are beloved by various artists regardless of genre.
Please take advantage of this great price!
